I have dedicated 25 years to helping children express their needs. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist & EMDR Child Trauma Specialist. I work with children 3-17yrs, caregivers & adults, with specialization in relational trauma. I help families struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, self harm, aggression, social isolation, life changes, loss, traumatic events and neurodiversity.
I approach therapy from the framework of attachment and brain science. Specifically focusing on how the nervous system functions and adapts within relational experiences. I use play, sand tray, expressive arts and parent/child attachment therapies interweaved with EMDR. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health, and building family's capacities.
