Life can hit us so hard and often leaves us feeling alone. As your counsellor, my biggest desire would be that you deeply understand that I am genuinely in your corner and that change is always possible. By being curious and courageous together, self-exploration, shift, and healing can be within reach. I try to steward clients’ vulnerability by drawing upon Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Satir. These attachment-based, trauma-informed approaches help me have a holistic view of what it means to be human and create a safe place for you to be your authentic self.
I am a second generation Hispanic settler with mixed Hungarian, Chilean, and British ancestry. I was born and raised in Surrey, BC on the traditional and unceded shared territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, and Semiahmoo First Nations, part of the Coast Salish peoples, and home to the Surrey-Delta Métis Association.
Because of my personal trials of chronic pain and depression, I have grown a deep empathy for those who find themselves in a similar place. I have felt compelled to come alongside youth and adult individuals, couples, and families from all background who are suffering, in any capacity, and it would be an honour for me to be your counsellor.
