I am a compassionate, skilled clinician with over 15 years of experience and training. I use a collaborative therapeutic approach to help support adolescents and adults who are experiencing challenges in their lives and relationships. I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment and use my clinical skills to assist people in exploring solutions and to gain new perspective on the issues they are facing.
I am experienced in the areas of trauma, PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, shame, stress, self-harm, and suicidal ideation, as well as other mental health and relationship issues. I use a holistic approach and look forward to helping clients achieve good health outcomes and a better quality of life.
I have provided psychotherapy in a variety of settings including a family counselling agency, the school board, community agencies, and non-profit organizations. I am also trained in EMDR, which is an innovative and powerful psychotherapy model that is used primarily to address the impact of trauma, particularly PTSD.
