It's heartbreaking to watch your child or teen struggle. As a parent or guardian, you know your child best, and can clearly see when they are hurting. Luckily, they have shared a little about their experience, but you still feel uncertain about their needs- powerless to do anything to help them. It feels like things will never change. They have so much potential, and you would hate to see them miss it.

If your child could see the good that others notice in them, nothing would get in their way. I would love to help them experience this for themselves. Using safe conversation, toys, games, and a nonjudgemental approach, I will help your child or teen discover their strength. I also ensure you have the chance to be involved throughout the process.

I begin with an intake session with parents/guardians. Then, I have 4 sessions with the child. After this, I provide a summary report to parents (with consent) as a broad update on my time with the child. A follow-up parent/guardian session is then scheduled, and the process repeats as necessary. My office has a variety of objects, toys, and games kids and teens can use to express themselves.
