As a therapist for over 30 years, I feel that I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help my clients achieve their treatment goals. My approach is strength based and holistic, and always client centered. Your confidentiality and trust in me is of utmost importance. I consider the therapeutic relationship a partnership, regularly checking in to see if we are going in the desired direction. As each persons life experience and needs are unique, I tailor our type of treatment to best serve clients’ needs
Throughout my career I have expanded my skills and knowledge base regularly by training in Emotion Focused Therapy, Focussing, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness based Stress Réduction, ASIST, various courses in treating trauma, to name just a few. Most recently I have taken workshops on Indigenous Focusing Oriented Tools for Living as well as Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead.
The mere thought of reaching out and making the initial call can be intimidating and scary. In our initial phone call I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about the therapy process. It matters to me that my clients feel as comfortable as possible.
