I truly believe that our unconscious worlds play a role in our lives, and in the power of real psychotherapy to uncover what is really happening, not what you wish was happening or what the world is telling you to be. Our work centres on understanding your experience, not trying to run away from it with short-term coping skills. We slow things down and pay attention to what it is like to live your life from the inside out.
Sessions are spacious and conversational, with room for pauses and uncertainty. We pay attention to your language, your reactions, and your relationships. If you dream, dreamwork can be used to bring your inner world into our shared space. I am not easily shocked, and judgment does not belong here. What you usually keep hidden will be welcome and embraced.
This is not therapy focused on quick fixes or self improvement strategies. It is for people who want to understand themselves more honestly and are willing to sit with complexity.
