About
I am a Registered Psychologist specializing in the treatment of disordered eating, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. If you are struggling with unhealthy behaviors (disordered eating, substance abuse), negative thoughts (hopelessness, worry), struggling with a major life transition (divorce, career change) or feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious, I can help you to minimize the impact of these issues, so that you feel better, improve your relationships, and increase your overall quality of life.
In addition to private practice, I conduct research in the St. Paul's Hospital Eating Disorders Program. I regularly present at conferences, publish in journals, offer workshops, and serve as a reviewer for journals and funding agencies. I am also a member of a number of professional organizations and a clinical supervisor for psychology graduate students.
I am compassionate, nonjudgmental and caring. I have specialized training in the delivery of empirically supported treatments for eating and anxiety disorders, depression, and substance abuse. As a BC Registered Psychologist (1637) you can be assured of my professional training and the high quality of care that I offer.
