Growing up can bring big emotions, tough transitions, and unique challenges. As a registered social worker and child and youth worker, I offer individual counselling for children, youth, and young adults. I support young people navigating anxiety, emotional dysregulation (those big meltdowns you keep seeing!), depression, self-harm, anger, peer challenges, family conflict, and life changes. I aim to create a welcoming space where everyone feels safe to be themselves.
My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in the importance of healthy, supportive relationships.
I tailor my work to meet each client's unique needs, often using play, art, and evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness. I hold a Master of Social Work and a Child and Youth Work diploma.
