About
"What shape waits in the seed of you to grow and spread its branches against a future sky?" Are you struggling with anxiety and/or depression? Do you feel driven to grow, yet are perpetually stuck? Are you navigating a particularly difficult life transition? I can help. I will provide you with a safe place to explore your unique situation and equip you with tools to work through it. I can meet with you in my beautiful, private office located in West Hamilton.
I work with people of all types and specialize in serving individuals who identify as creative, gifted, intense and/or highly sensitive. Individuals who belong to these under-served groups often face unique life challenges and require a counsellor or therapist who understands their distinct experience of life.
My practice is intimately informed by ecopsychological ideas. Ecopsychology practice (sometimes called ecotherapy) aims to connect people with both "inner" nature and "outer" nature to facilitate healing and growth. After all, "The human soul, like any soul, cannot be separated from nature. Our souls are of nature."
