| Français Compassion, kindness and mindfulness is the heart of my practice. I am passionate about client empowerment and being non-judgmental. My approach is based on the needs of my clients, meaning that although I have a systemic and Emotional focused therapy foundation, I use psychodynamic approach and cognitive behavioral, or solution focused strategies as required. Fundamentally, I believe that people are capable of change and that in order to change we need a better understanding of ourselves and others.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is experienced in marital and family therapy, mental health, post trauma, crisis, grief, stress, parenting, and overall sense of self. I can work with couple, family, individuals, teens, adults, and elders.
I completed my BA in psychology and my MA in counseling and spirituality with a concentration in couple and family therapy at Saint Paul University, it gives me tools to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
