Childhood Trauma Recovery - Phase 1 & 2
Childhood Trauma Recovery Phase I is a short-term, therapist-led group psychotherapy program designed for male survivors of childhood sexual and/or physical abuse. Its purpose is to begin men on their journey of trauma recovery through essential psycho-education, coaching on the recovery process, and mutual support. Phase 2 is a long-term process group program aimed at deepening the recovery process through insight, applied psychotherapy, experiential exercises, and group support. Phase 1 graduates can join one of three evening programs that operate on renewable ten week cycles. Assessment required before admission.

Anger Management
This twenty hour group therapy program is for men who wish to resolve problems either at work or at home due to problems associated with their anger and rage. Participants will benefit from the following program objectives: detect cognitive distortion, implement self-talk, identify pre-violence cues, utilize time outs, become assertive, develop emotional literacy, increase empathy for others, reflect on unresolved issues of anger from the past, identify emotional triggers, implement techniques of self-care and stress management, maintain appropriate interpersonal boundaries, understand the connection between anger and depression, addiction and other compulsive behaviour. Assessment interview required before admission. .

Emotional Integrity
This ten-week, renewable group therapy program is offered for men who wish to explore issues of emotional sensitivity, expression, and interpersonal conflict resolution. An equal emphasis will be placed on emotional awareness as well as skills development. Participants can expect to receive awareness and skills training on such issues as: problem solving skills, conflict resolution techniques, trust building, listening skills, emotional insight, articulation of difficult feelings, assertiveness, masculinity, emotional constriction, interpersonal boundaries, communication skills, empathy training, cognitive self-monitoring techniques. The curriculum will also be shaped by participant feedback. Assessment interview required.
