My goal as a therapist is to create a connection that allows for curiosity, risk-taking, fun and emotional safety so that you feel empowered to share in sessions. If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, life-transitions, grief, relationship issues, or questions around identity I would love to explore this with you. I enjoy connecting people to their emotions and will often aim to increase connection between your emotions and your body so you feel empowered to express your feelings and increase self-trust. Emotions have important information for us and feeling them in the presence of another is sometimes all that's needed.
I’m a playful and curious person by nature and this comes through in my therapy. If you need a place to express emotions, process life-transitions/past events, I'm all for it. If you want to amplify places of joy and pleasure in your life, we can do that. My favourite modalities are Internal Family Systems, Art therapy and Somatic work !
I love working with all ages, and have ample experience working with youth (16-30). I identify as queer and enjoy working with youth and adults exploring sexuality and gender. I am body positive, sex-positive and have navigated sexuality, relationships and sex in the context of faith. If you are curious if we'd be a good fit book a free call!
