I work primarily with clients facing complicated relationship dynamics, life transitions, grief, trauma, parenting challenges, and anxiety.
For many clients, therapy is the first time they have spoken about the most painful parts of their lives. It is so important to be listened to without shame or judgement. My main goal is for you to leave each session feeling seen and believed, and ultimately that you matter.
While I mostly work with adults and youth, I also counsel children using art and play-based methods to build a trusting relationship while holistically addressing underlying concerns.
My approach blends compassionate inquiry with narrative therapy. Reflecting on our unique experiences and acknowledging the wider systems that have influenced us, can be a helpful foundation to explore our beliefs about ourselves and those around us. As we gain clarity, we have more opportunities to take up our space and intentionally choose what comes next.
