Over ten years of experience in community mental health- working with people who have been navigating life transitions, challenges within their social and cultural contexts, substance use, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more- has equipped me to contribute positively to the well-being of others. I have a passion for supporting individuals who care for people in their personal and professional lives, knowing first-hand how important it is to proactively create space for our own mental health before we can support others well.
Together, we will work collaboratively on the goals you feel are important. You will notice that my work is client-led and strengths-based, but I also integrate practices from narrative therapy, ACT, DBT, Observed and Experiential Integration (OEI) and body-based practices as they become relevant for you.
During our time together, my aim is to empower you, in whatever season you find yourself in, to seek understanding of your experience and walk away with a compassionate perspective of the challenges of being human. My hope is that you would feel safe, seen, and supported in our time together.
