Warm, safe connection and non-judgmental therapy in Victoria, BC. I offer evidence-based therapies to help my clients experience wellbeing and "come back" to themselves. Issues that I often work with include overcoming anxiety, finding purpose, bolstering self esteem, and improving relationships with others and with one's self. My clients typically experience a marked increase in confidence and self-control following our work together.
I have 7 years of experience in helping people navigate the consequences of trauma, abuse, and stress. Outside of my counselling work, I teach trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation. In my clinic, I currently offer individual counselling to adults, youth counselling for ages 16 and above, and yoga therapy.
I bring empathy and mindfulness to every one of my counselling sessions. You deserve a friendly presence to do this work with. Please see my website for service details, direct booking, and more. Free consultation is available. www.emilyschmittcounselling.com
