For the past fifteen years, I have provided therapy to diverse populations in various treatment settings. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, climate anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship conflicts, trauma, and stress caused by life transitions.
As a therapist, I strive to understand clients' unique needs and strengths. I value my clients’ perspectives and believe their self-awareness is essential to future change. The therapeutic relationship I have with clients is foundational to my work as a therapist and in many ways guides the counselling process.
I often use Psychodynamic Therapy, which involves exploring past experiences, as well as current conflicts, to identify patterns and recurring struggles. My work also draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and cognitive therapies. With these approaches, clients develop insight, process emotions, establish healthy thought patterns, and make desired changes.
Central to my therapeutic approach is the belief that you have the potential to change and progress towards a healthier version of yourself. As your therapist, I will support you to better understand your struggles and strengths, identify changes that feel authentic, and establish greater wellness.
