About
*Currently accepting new clients* I have been a registered social worker and practicing therapist since 2013. I have 9 years of experience counselling individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression. I am a compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner offering both short-term, solution-focussed approaches as well as longer-term narrative therapy to teens and adults. I believe in providing hope, stabilization and skill to each of my clients as they navigate their healing journey.
I specialize in LGBTQ2IA+ affirmative therapy and I have worked with many clients as they journey through gender-confirmation. I have worked throughout my career with those who have experienced sexual assault and sexual trauma and I have experience offering stabilization and coping to those with historical trauma.
I often meet with people after they have grappled with calling a counsellor for some time. This is ok. Being vulnerable is incredibly difficult. You are welcome to contact me when you are ready and we can begin our work together.
