Therapy requires some commitment and willingness to explore issues and with some dedication and consistency, huge strides can be achieved in one's personal journey to wholeness.
Therapy can be a wonderful exploration of the human experience. However, it can also bring up a lot of painful memories if you have had traumatic experiences. Traumatic events can cause us to get triggered when these experiences have not been processed. I specialize in trauma/complex trauma through a variety of techniques to help alleviate the symptoms.
I work in a relational and humanistic context with presence and empathy to facilitate a foundation of trust. Therapy can be scary and intimidating for most people and that's why my approach is to create a safe and calm container where a client can feel comfortable.
