I have spent the previous three years working in the community-based child and youth mental health sector. I support young people and their families navigate challenges related to emotions, behaviour and family conflict. I have experience working with queer, Trans and neurodiverse folks and families. I offer therapy for children and teen individually (ages 6 to18), family therapy and parent coaching. I primarily operate using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy.
As a queer, non-binary therapist, I strive to include a fight for social justice in my practice. I see my job as centring and supporting people on an individual level to understand what changes would make their lives better and what gets in the way of making those changes, without losing sight of systemic factors.
