I am an RCC with over 16 years of experience in the field. I offer in person (Vancouver) & online therapy in Farsi & English. My areas of practice are trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem/self-image, perfectionism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, sleep issues, burn out/stress management, life transitions and relationship issues. I have years of experience working with clients dealing with severe mental health issues, trained in suicide/crisis/self-harm behaviour assessment, intervention and treatment. I take a holistic approach to therapy, where we explore the emotional, mental, physical, societal & spiritual aspects together.

I meet you where you are at, and work collaboratively with you to reach your goals. I use a combination of modalities (such as CBT,CBTI,IFS,ERP, mindfulness) which I tailor to individual needs, as not one size fits all. I take an attachment and emotion focused lens to therapy. I am a certified EMDR therapist & offer EMDR & IFS Integrated Intensives.

Having immigrated to Canada as a youth, I know first hand the hardships that such stressors as acculturation can play on one and their families. I aim to foster an environment that is welcoming and accepting of ALL regardless of faith, culture, ethnicity, gender/identity and sexuality; a place where one can safely & fearlessly explore all aspects of self!
