I'm a registered social worker that specializes in trauma focused grief and loss therapy, and I have training and experience in working with prolonged, complicated, and traumatic bereavement. Sometimes our grief has nothing to do with death, and this practice is welcoming to those grieving a relationship, a job, a religion, or any lost future. I am also an acute healthcare worker looking to support other healthcare workers with their experience of moral distress, vicarious trauma, and burnout.
I have trained in some specific modalities, but my goal is to create a treatment plan that actually works for you. I bring a creative and holistic lens that aims to provide care in the context of a safe relationship. I'm interested in somatic and bottom-up approaches that recognize the wisdom of our bodies. I want you to feel better, not just think better.
