"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." V. Frankl Therapy isn't about getting the right answer, it's about making choices that move you forward. Many aspects of life are out of our control. If we focus on our decisions, we'll find greater contentment. Little shifts make a big difference. In my office, laughter, cursing, crying or yelling are welcome. I have curious questions, off-the-wall analogies, and shift gears as required.
Working with a wide range of clients, I have over 15 years experience working in social services. I approach the therapeutic relationship as a joint effort and have a practical, no-nonsense style.
In community-based settings, I have developed specializations working with individuals who have mental health concerns, use substances, or have tried to take their own life. The strategies and coping skills that I share with clients in crisis can be helpful to anyone. I look forward to speaking with you.
