When we’re caught in the struggle we can feel hopeless. We may notice things that use to help aren’t helping. We may have lost motivation to try, as a result of this. It’s common to get caught in the suggestions of others, or online searching for something that may help. We may not know where to start but know, we don’t want to keep feeling/thinking/living as is. Therapy services can help us find a starting point, then develop a plan and act on making change, all while supported by a regulated professional in the field.
Clinical focus: Mindset Therapy (related to thoughts, negative thinking, overthinking, unwanted/intrusive thoughts, etc.); Pre-/Post-natal Therapy (perinatal mental health certified); and Couple Counselling. Kameela has training in a multiple modalities for therapy, including CBT, ACT, Hypnotherapy, and the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy Level 1 & 2.
Kameela has been supporting mental health for 15 years, her experience includes counsellor / therapist, group facilitator, and clinical supervisor. As a therapist with social work degrees she's passionate about the work she does, balancing her practice with community initiatives, offering workshops, and engaging in professional development.
