I believe that the challenges we face are inherently political. Internal struggles are connected to oppressive structures across generations. It is natural to feel hopeless, anxious or afraid in a world that is unjust and working against us. I support BIPOC folks of intersecting identities who are feeling alone in these injustices. We work together to understand how our past experiences and present environments impact our wellbeing. I can support with topics related to family dynamics, relationships, diasporic identity, queerness, and self worth.
I am drawn to the transformative change and depth brought through approaches like trauma-centered inner child work, Internal Family Systems, and Somatics, but also understand the value of everyday coping skills, which I draw from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. Our conversations are exploratory, non-pathologizing, and centered around your choice and needs.
We can work together to materialize the healing you envision in your everyday life. This could look like connecting with community, setting daily habits, learning to cook, or engaging in creativity. We work to unravel the harms of structural violence and find new ways to survive. We may be shaped by our histories but can take steps to reclaim our futures.
