Elim is a Christian Counselling Center in Ottawa, Canada's Capital. Elim offers individual, family and couple's counselling to all and is equipped to handle a wide range of psychological, spiritual issues. Christian Counselling does not imply that people of other faith groups or of no faith is turned away. Instead, Christian Counselling simply means that it is an organization that is formed on Christian principles. We offer trauma treatment using EMDR. In addition, we provide self-help material on our YouTube channel which has over 350 podcasts. You can access the channel by searching Elim Counselling Services on YouTube.
Elim offers professional counselling on a sliding scale basis and endeavors to make counselling available at a rate that is affordable to those who might not be able to afford standard professional counselling rates.We are able to do these with the help of those who make donations to Elim.
Elim is equipped to offer the best in terms of psychological interventions and techniques but also believes (as the latest scientific research on spirituality shows) that a person's spirituality can be an important asset. As a result, Elim is open to incorporating the spiritual dimension if clients so desire.
