I am Michele Gardiner, a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in 'good standing', and I hold 18 years experience supporting individuals through recovery from Anxiety Disorders, Trauma Disorders, Eating Disorders, and concurrent mental health issues such as C-PSTD, PTSD, Binge Eating, Emotional Eating, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, and major Life Transitions. Reclaiming Self & Safety - Anxiety, BPD, CPTSD
Welcome! This 6-week, skills-based therapy group focuses on helping you develop the knowledge, awareness and coping tools to increase a sense of safety in the world and within. Each phase and tool help guide you gently increasing your sense of awareness, choice, and control of distressing mental, emotional, and somatic experiences in the here-and-now applying mindfulness-based interventions combined with self-compassion and DBT. Facilitated by Michele Gardiner, a Master's level, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and registered CCC, this group runs 1x/wk for 6 wks, $25/session starting May 2024.
