My practices evolved over time, but always followed through the line of trauma. I am fortunate enough to have a very formative experience in EMDR, IFS, ACT, and neuroscience to address the needs of my clients. I practice actively in Alberta & British Columbia as a Registered Psychologist and Registered Clinical Counsellor. I believe that to have good mental health, the individual must be treated as the whole person. So, I integrate the mind, body into my practice to help my clients to overcome complex traumas, depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, and PTSD.
Past experiences & burdens cause the individual to feel the past in the present time. I genuinely believe that the burdened part(s) that carries a load of pain and wounding trauma gets free to feel more aligned using IFS & IFIO. By applying EMDR, I help my client to replace unwanted thoughts, feelings/emotions with healthier ones to create lasting change.
Through my special training in Clinical Hypnosis, I help my clients to get into a more relaxed state of mind to access unconscious memory and accept positive suggestions.
