On top of this we add a full complement of daily sessions focusing on topics like Anxiety & Depression, Grief and Loss, Self-Esteem, Anger, Co-Dependency, Trauma, 12 steps, Self-Care, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Relapse Prevention. Our Individualized program allows us to address your specific situation and circumstances. We offer program lengths of 30, 60, 90, or 120 days for both men and women as it is a proven fact that longer treatment lengths increase positive treatment outcomes. Small Admissions Sizes Help as well! We only take a maximum of 6 male of female clients at a time. This helps to ensure that no one slips through the cracks, as often in larger centers it is hard to be heard among the crowd. At The Crossing Point, your voice is important. Founded in 1993 and located in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, Together We Can is one of Canada's premier treatment centres for men struggling with substance misuse issues. Our mission is to educate and support individuals and their families who desire a new life in recovery. We provide an immersive 60-90 day recovery-based primary addiction treatment experience and hosts an on-site medical clinic staffed by three physicians, a dietician, and a Registered Nurse. The medical clinic offers medication stabilization, detox/withdrawal management, and continued after-care. Together We Can offers a free program for families composed of an education group, grief and loss support group, and peer-based support meeting. Our staff and volunteers understand that long-term recovery is most successful when people are provided with health and wellness supports for physical, mental, and emotional healing. Our continuum of care includes residential and outpatient addiction treatment, transitional housing, after-care, and alumni initiatives.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) provide effective treatment for substance addictions, mental illness, and trauma/PTSD. Offered online across Canada and in-person at select locations, the 8-week intensive program offers 9 hours per week of group and individual therapy sessions, followed by 10 months of Aftercare sessions to support ongoing recovery. These evidence-based programs use proven therapeutic techniques and psychoeducation to help patients learn the tools and skills they need to achieve long-term recovery. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behavioural Activation Therapy (BA).

Red Road Recovery is a private addictions treatment centre for substance abuse and concurrent disorders located in Sorrento BC. Sunshine Coast Health Centre is a private, licensed, residential addiction treatment facility for men. While other programs focus on abstinence or reducing harm, we believe that the recovery process needs to move beyond mere healing. Our programs are based largely on the theory and practice of Meaning-Centered Therapy (MCT), developed by psychologist Dr. Paul T. P. Wong. Our 5-week residential Traumatic Stress Recovery Program (TSRP), followed by 6 weeks of Post-Treatment Support, is a customized program for individuals who have experienced trauma or who suffer from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Every person experiences trauma differently. A family member ( i.e. spouse, sister/ brother can join the program in a week 1 and week 2). Our highly-trained clinical team can help you understand PTSD and its comorbid conditions, and provide support tailored to your experience and symptoms. Clients participate in individual and group therapy, cardiovascular activities, yoga and mindfulness, nutrition coaching, psycho-educational sessions, and more. Small Group: 6 individuals per group only. Separate Cohort for First Responders and Veterans. Financial Assistance available. Certified to work with First Responders

The Canadian Treatment Centre for Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (CTCOCD, www.ctcocd.ca) is the national specialized treatment center for OCD and related disorders throughout the lifespan: children, adolescents, and adults. CTCOCD programs are tailored for persons whose symptoms and related difficulties range from very mild and newly developed to very severe and longstanding. Treatment is offered to Canadians from all provinces and regions and to international residents. Highly specialized CTCOCD services to optimize recovery involve office based sessions for most persons. Intensive treatment programs with a team of experts are available for local and out of town patients who need this service (i.e., prolonged sessions several times weekly or daily). Home visits are offered to help where symptoms occur. Therapist assisted home based specialty treatments may be offered as an effective alternative to hospitalization for very severe symptoms. Strategies for generalization of change, resilience, skills, and self-esteem as well as relapse prevention are integral. Phone or skype sessions are possible for individuals in remote regions who cannot access specialized care. Psychiatric and pharmacological consultation and treatment are available if needed with experienced staff psychiatrists affiliated with the CTCOCD. Treatment is not time-limited and services are bilingual.
