Bettina obtained her B.A. in Psychology in 2003 and then completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2012. Bettina has been providing psychotherapy services to clients with trauma, depression, anxiety disorders and stress-related difficulties for 20 years. She also has 10 + years of management / leadership experience, training and supervising psychotherapists and other mental health practitioners.
Bettina specializes in treating clients with trauma-related difficulties including Post-traumatic Stress and other anxiety disorders as well as mood disorders. She works with clients suffering from childhood and present day trauma as well as victims of abuse. She provides services to adults, and youth.
Bettina uses specific modalities in her practice including cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion focused therapy, attachment theory principles, dialectical behavioural therapy and mindfulness. She provides individual, as well as couples and family counselling/psychotherapy. Services are provided in a confidential, warm and safe environment.
