When life introduces us to complex experiences and emotions, we may find difficulty in processing the residual trauma or feel stuck in it. We may even notice a limitation to talk therapy, as our experiences with trauma may be difficult to put into words, however, an impact can still be felt by the nervous system, even through memories. Using Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (TM), we move through what is not only conscious, but also explore what is held by the unconscious mind. This approach to somatic therapy deepens our understanding of how the body holds trauma, bringing awareness before allowing release.
