Kids today face a unique set of mental health challenges shaped by social, cultural, technological, and academic pressures. I offer support for a range of issues—whether that’s academic pressure, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, depression, social media stress, loneliness, body image issues, low self-esteem, and identity/family struggles.
Together, we will identify specific areas of concern and understand behaviours to navigate ways to attain goals. I provide a safe space for kids to feel comfortable expressing themselves. We will work on learning new coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, anger, or sadness.
Implementing CBT, Play Therapy, and DBT, I provide services individually. I will often invite parents into sessions to strengthen communication at home, build healthy routines, and set boundaries. I offer in-person services for clients aged 8+ in Guelph, and virtually for those located throughout Ontario, Quebec, and within unregulated provinces.
