Finding a counsellor that is a good fit can be challenging! It is important to enter a counselling relationship with someone who shares your values. I believe that people are not problems and strive to create an inclusive space to be yourself without judgement. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who seek help exploring issues such as self confidence, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationships, stress, anger, anxiety, divorce, and family conflict. I am affirming and celebratory of diverse identities, communities, and relationship structures.
As an experienced teacher and guidance counsellor, I am passionate about helping you navigate the complexities of growing up, discovering identities, and addressing challenges connected to school, university, work, relationships, or family stress. I value open dialogue and aim to listen without judgement and enjoy working with all ages.
My goal is to create a welcoming space that is affirming and celebratory of all identities, particularly those in the 2SLGBTQI+ community. I seek to empower you in understanding yourself and supporting who you want to become without judgment. I would be happy to connect with you to see if we are a good fit.
