If you are looking for help in dealing with difficult emotions, learning how to build on your strengths, or improve your relationship with yourself, I am here for you. Under the supervision of Clinical Psychologist Dr. Ange Cooper, I treat people from all backgrounds with anxiety, depression, excessive worry, burnout, chronic pain, mind-body difficulties, and other issues using evidence-based approaches that include psychodynamic psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also work with people who have issues with self acceptance, body image, wounds from diet culture, and disordered eating habits.
I have always been drawn towards deep conversations with people about their emotions and inner worlds, and I come to this profession as a feminist, queer-affirming husband and father who will foster unconditional acceptance towards you—however you show up. In this safe therapeutic space, we can explore your own compassionate self-inquiry and healing.
I thrive on helping people understand and explore their feelings and fears, and to help them align their behaviours more closely with their values. If you would like a skilled facilitator to guide you through this kind of important personal work and healing, I would be honoured to work with you.
