I am a Toronto, Ontario psychologist with 20+ years of experience, with a clinical focus on adults (anxiety, depression, pregnancy, post-partum, parenting issues, high achieving perfectionistic professionals, difficulties with life-work balance, impact on self-esteem), university students, adolescents and families (of all ages). As a clinician I strive to bring warmth, kindness and humour to the therapeutic dialogue, hoping to create a safe, respectful, collaborative and supportive environment.
I offer consultations and psychotherapy, informed by an attachment and trauma informed, incorporating interpersonal psychotherapy, emotion focused therapy , CBT and mindfulness practices. I specialize in helping clients with a complex trauma history, life transitions, perinatal mental health, bereavement/loss, panic attack, social anxiety, and career stress.
As an Ontario clinician with an uncommon professional background in adult, child psychology and developmental research, I am able to support clients with a range of presenting concerns. This clinical experience allows me to individualize treatment, and problem solve with clients regarding the implementation and integration of best evidence practices.
