Dr. WIEBE has been an autonomous member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPBAO) since 2003. She has been providing psychotherapy for individuals and groups since her first graduate school internship in 1995. She has worked with a wide range of adults and adolescents in several settings, including university counselling centres, an inner city hospital, the youth justice system, as well as within the general community as a private practitioner. She graduated from York University in 1993 with a specialized honours degree in psychology, and completed her masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Toronto in 2001.
Dr. WIEBE has expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clinical disorders, including but not limited to: Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma- and Stress-Related Disorders, and Personality Disorders.
Dr. WIEBE will utilize various therapeutic interventions dependent upon each client’s assessed needs. She prefers to work very closely with each of her clients in order to develop agreed-upon treatment goals. All interventions will be provided in a therapeutic environment that is warm, empathic, and emotionally focused.
