I am a Clinical Psychologist with fifteen years of experience in treatment and assessment. Education in both the Arts and Science inform my balanced approach to improving mental health. I place importance on understanding the client as a unique individual with their own stressors, life experiences, key relationships and biological/health characteristics. This understanding helps me to develop a focused and effective treatment strategy designed to increase happiness and improve quality of life. I rely on evidence-based techniques, but also understand the importance building of a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust.
I have experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological challenges, and have developed skill in understanding the roots of a client's problems and building a pathway to good mental health. One of my strengths is helping clients feel comfortable exploring their inner experiences, so as to more quickly improve their mental health and happiness.
