Dr. Caroline Maykut has been involved in research, teaching, and clinical practice related to sexuality for several years. Dr. Maykut believes that healthy sexuality is about more than just the absence of “dysfunction,” and takes a sex-positive and pleasure-focused approach to building sexual self-esteem and intimacy. She believes that sexuality cannot be separated from other aspects of our lives and identities, and takes a “whole person” approach to sex therapy.
