About
As a psychologist registered in clinical and school psychology, my training allows me to assess and treat a wide variety of mental health concerns. My experience in school psychology provides me with a unique perspective of the challenges that parents, and their children experience not only at home but in meeting their social, emotional, and cognitive needs within the greater context of their community. I take pride in tailoring treatment to individual needs by integrating learning and cognitive profiles into the application of developmentally appropriate interventions.
I strive to provide a nonjudgmental and supportive safe space to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with my clients. My approach is to collaboratively understand an individual’s strengths and challenges as a guide for treatment planning to enhance functioning, reduce distress, and work toward mutually agreed upon goals to improve quality of life.
