In my counselling practice, I work with individuals and their families who have experienced trauma and live with grief, loss, anxiety and depression. Additionally I work with Individuals with significant issues stemming from PTSD, brain trauma and other catastrophic injuries. I also work with individuals with developmental challenges and autism who require support with acquiring life and social skills such as anger management, sexual safety and establishing positive social connections. I work with my clients to help build tools and strategies for managing their daily life as well developing positive coping mechanisms.

I assist people to learn how past experiences may have led them to create coping strategies that helped them survive during difficult times but are no longer working in their present life. I support people in creating new, more effective tools and strategies that help to build a "new" normal.
