We are living in challenging times. Personal, interpersonal and systemic stressors can negatively impact our sense of well-being and leave us feeling stuck. If you find yourself in this place, you are not alone! Counselling can help by providing a nonjudgmental and safe space in which we will work together to explore the challenges you’re experiencing, empower your ability to solve problems, celebrate your acts of courage and resilience, reconnect you to the resources and strengths you already have, and chart meaningful ways forward.
I offer counselling to individual teens, adults and elders on a variety of issues including anxiety, relationships, identity and esteem, trauma, and loss, as well as end-of-life and spiritual/existential issues. Working from an attachment and trauma-informed perspective, I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to address your unique needs and hopes.
As human beings we all have a need to be seen, heard and valued, and yet we can fear this as well. Counselling helps by providing a safe place to connect with yourself and another, and it is this experience of connection that en-courages us to grow, change and navigate challenges. Consider reaching out. I look forward to meeting you.
