Every one of us can encounter stormy weather as we sail across the ocean of life and feel overwhelmed with uncertainty, anguish, and sorrow. When you connect with me, I am committed to meeting you in the thick of the storm and working alongside you to move towards healing. My approach centers around building a safe compassionate relationship with you first. Within this relationship, we can work with your mind and body, exploring areas like the effects of trauma on our nervous system, how to regulate, and what it takes to live in harmony with your hopes and values. I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy, Somatic approaches, and ACT.
I primarily work with people who experienced traumas and/or facing challenges like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and grief. I have specialized experience supporting those with traumas around gender-based and sexualized violence, racialized harms, and systemic injustices. I also draw from my background as a first-generation immigrant.
Please feel free to email or call me! I would love to talk with you about the kind of support you are looking for and begin traveling alongside you in your journey of healing. I see individuals and couples who are over 17 years of age. I can offer counselling in English and Korean. 한국어로 심리상담 가능합니다.
