I believe that people are inherently healthy and resilient, and capable of recovering from areas where they may be stuck by finding new insights, knowledge and tools. I see my role as helping people find their way through mental health challenges, challenges with family relationships or with work, struggles with chronic illness, loss and grief, or through life transitions to see their highest potential.
I work with adults of all backgrounds and ages, and have particular experience with older adults and people from international backgrounds. I have training in Psychology, Social Work, Adult Education and intercultural communication. My approach is client-centred and strength-based. I draw on therapy approaches such as ACT and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
I provide a safe, accepting and compassionate environment for you to work through your challenges. I am a skilled listener and can draw on a range of tools and therapeutic approaches, as well as the wisdom that comes with experience.
