I offer an empathetic, compassionate approach for adults and youth aged 12+ looking to improve their overall quality of life and family relationships. I also offer family therapy.
As a former volunteer and mentor with Ottawa Distress Centre and a high school teacher with over twenty years of experience teaching youth in regular classrooms and those admitted to inpatient psychiatric units, I offer person-centred, CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, and ACT based approaches using art when appropriate.
I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space that empowers teens, adults and families to develop skills that align with their therapeutic goals. I am a practitioner under supervision at CMAP Health and registered with the CRPO and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
