I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I have worked with children, youth and families since 1981 in various settings and have a strong passion for helping others to live their best lives. I believe that it takes tremendous courage to seek support in life and value the trust that my clients place in me when they share their personal struggles. I have worked with clients of different cultures, abilities and ages, and have a passion for working with those who have experienced trauma and grief.
I have worked with a broad range of psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, physical and sexual abuse, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, anger management and group therapy.
My hope is always to provide a safe, nonjudgmental and accepting environment that empowers clients to reach their goals. Using a person-centered approach, I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also certified in EMDR Therapy.
