Do you want to go deeper in your journey? I specialize in EMDR and Depth Psychology which go to the roots of your behaviour. Whether you think you had a 'normal' childhood or know the dysfunction you experienced, we are all wounded by not 'good enough' parenting and thus, develop coping mechanisms (and negative thought patterns) which do not serve us. These adaptations result in depression, anxiety, and a feeling of 'stuckness' or 'blah.' I help clients see, address, and process these (at times, not so) blind spots into healthier, more soulful ways of being.
I offer in-depth modalities including EMDR and Depth/Jungian Psychotherapy. We pin-point negative thought patterns, identify childhood wounding and face the repressed (and not-so repressed) feelings that keep one stuck in limiting patterns.
What story are you tired of living from? How do you truly want to be living (or re-kindle)?

Workshop: Managing Those Button Pushing Triggers

This trauma-informed workshop is ideal for general personal awareness as well as for counsellor/CYW/ECE/support worker/first responder professional theory/skill development. Content deals with reactions – from disappointment, resentments, to flashback memories/dreams, to falling in love. It is rich with Depth Psychology knowledge explaining the unconscious/shadow and guides the participant in practical and in-depth explorations around the projection of our ‘stuff’ when poked, the origins of their triggers, the connection between past and now, and most importantly, how to process/lessen their intensity. This workshop can be adjusted to meet your organization’s needs. FMI https://corecounselling.ca/workshops/
