My clinical practice focuses on individuals and couples from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, and depression.
My preferred model in working with couples is Emotionally Focused Therapy (www.iceeft.ca). This model helps partners understand their interactional cycles and underlying feelings linked to their attachment needs. This is a well researched approach that allows partners to connect on a deeper level and discover the potential for their growth in a relationship.
In individual therapy, my professional stance is mostly defined by existential-humanistic approach, which believes that each person has a capacity to unfold their strength, wisdom, and courage to bring more authenticity and joy into their life.
