Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT) is the treatment most closely associated with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Counsellors practice DBT in both individual and group sessions. The therapy combines elements of CBT to help with regulating emotion through distress tolerance and mindfulness.
