I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist. After 20 years of providing psychotherapy, I am even more certain that assisting people to a better place of well-being is an honouring process. I believe that people usually come to a therapy process because despite their efforts, their roadmap in their lives doesn't apply anymore. Therapeutic conversations can provide an opportunity to explore life experiences and create new awareness of choices and strategies to resolve the difficulties that you may be experiencing.

As we journey through life, unfair things happen. The associated thoughts, feelings and people can stay with us as painful memories, create a sense of burden and influence our future expectations. While we can't change the past, it is under our control to change the way we look at what happened. As challenging events and relationships unfold, we can control how we respond. We do this by becoming more aware of automatic negative reactions and replacing them with healthier thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It is possible for you to obtain a new lease on life and to embrace a future filled with things that have seemed out of reach.

Developmental Disorders Counsellors
Developmental disorder' is the collective term used to describe the disorders, first diagnosed in a child's infancy or early childhood, which then become more apparent as the kids develop during their childhood and into their teens and adolescence. Like all labels, it means little and is open to interpretation.

The developmental disorders are categorized in to two areas: specific developmental disorders, which affect discrete parts of a kid's development, and the pervasive disorders (e.g. PDD L4Z), which affect multiple developmental basics. The specific developmental disorders include communication disorders, speech and language issues, such as stuttering or lisps in L4Z; learning disorders; and motor function or motor skills disorders, which may include tics or Tourette's in L4Z.

The pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) include autism, asperger's, attention-deficit and disruptive behavior disorders.

There are other issues that can affect childhood development, which are included in the developmental disorders--such as feeding and eating disorders, elimination disorders, separation anxiety disorder, and reactive attachment disorder.

Look here for help with children, kids or teens with developmental disorders in L4Z or L4Z developmental issues. Try a L4Z child counsellor, L4Z facility or L4Z treatment program. These counsellors provide help with kids' developmental issues in L4Z, child development, teen development and adolescent development. They include developmental counsellors in L4Z, developmental psychologists, developmental therapists, and treatment for developmental disorders. They'll also help with problem teens development in L4Z, teenagers development problems in L4Z, L4Z teenage development and teenager developmental issues.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in L4Z are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counsellor in L4Z you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counselling or couples counselling in L4Z and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counselling in L4Z or family therapy in L4Z.
