Hello and welcome! I strive to help clients heal from inner pain and cultivate inner strength. My focus includes, but is not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, racial and sexual identity, and men’s issues. My practice is welcoming to everyone, and as a Chinese-Canadian with a background in education, our work together will take into account the unique challenges those from diverse backgrounds face. I am LGBTIQA+ and BIPOC allied.
My approach is a blend of trauma-informed Person-Centered therapy, CBT, DBT, and ACT. I collaborate with clients to help them examine how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours impact their well being so that they can work towards building a life that embodies the values that reflect their true selves.
I am devoted to creating a safe, compassionate and culturally sensitive space that lets clients breathe and speak about their experiences so that they do not feel alone and unseen.
