eating disorders and sexuality are my main specialties. both are shaped by cultural messages and involve the interplay of desire and denial. both happen to the body and often involve some element of shame or trauma. i specialized in somatic therapy because the areas in which i work require not only cognitive skills, but also skills for working with the body.
